How Can I Hear the Voice of The Voiceless?
How can I hear the voice of The voiceless,
How can I know the crux of their pain.
How can I share their desperate confusion
When powerful self-interests
Shout them down, ‘Don’t complain’,
‘Your cause is trivial, our wealth holds the power
To solve the world’s problems -
Though, sorry, not yours’.
‘Progress’ then wipes away all they hold special,
And swells corporate coffers from their scars and sores.
