A garment cries ‘I’m all forlorn’
discarded before I’ve been worn;
bought as a ‘just maybe’,
when received, deemed unshapely,
I’m landfill - not dirty nor torn.
(Shamefully, under 1% of textiles are recycled or re-used!).
