The envelope from Buckingham Palace.
We returned from a few days of Retreat in Dorset recently and found this envelope on the mat. Not an everyday occurrence and quite a puzzle. When we opened the envelope, we found a delightful letter from The King’s Correspondence Secretary. It was in response to a letter I had sent to the King explaining how I was hoping to give people a voice who find it hard to know how to approach the difficult question of Climate Change and how to register their reaction to inaction on the Climate Crisis.
In the letter, the Secretary said
'His Majesty greatly appreciates you sharing your ideas with him on this significant matter, and enjoyed hearing about your creation of climate-themed limericks in order to raise awareness for environmental issues'
