CLIMERICK: Could Clim’ricks Become Useful Tools - Test a prospective Election Candidate

KEEPING CLIMATE CONCERN

St Cuthbert’s Island, off Lindisfarne, Northumbria.
An islet under threat from rising sea levels

On World Environment Day, and with the UK election less than a month away, Here’s an idea for any Climate - concerned pupils or teachers.

Could Clim’ricks become useful tools

To test would-be MPs in schools?

Students pen one – or draw

a verse penned before.

Then the kids probe: Smart-Eco’s or Fools.

This idea was explored in more detail in the last posting on this blog. It will need a real determination at this stage but could be an excellent learning point for pupils and prospective candidates. If the possibility opens up, local media could be VERY interested -however the candidates perform!
